If you would to visit Longville, Minn. and ask around about its most famous inhabitant, most of the people would tell you a story of Bruno. Bruno wandered into town when he was just a pup 12 years ago and quickly found his home with Debbie and Larry LaVallee. Even though they consider themselves Bruno’s owners, his vagabond nature never allows him to stay put in one place for too long. Instead, Bruno has become the town dog.
Every day, Bruno can be seen making the four mile trip into Longville along Highway 84 where he greets people for some love and treats before heading back home. He’s become so popular among the locals that they even put up a statue in his honor.
