When the owner of 2-year old German Shepherd named Ginger turned her over to Apple Valley Animal Shelter he did it because he was living out of a car and wanted to give her a better life. Little did he know that car or mansion, home is a home and she’d do anything to get there.
When the shelter staff came to work the next morning they found Ginger missing from her kennel, but the real surprise came when they watched what the security cameras recorded. Somehow, the homesick pup managed to find her way to the front door and open 3 doors along her way. She was found only blocks away from her owner’s previous home.
