Soldier Is Forced To Leave Street Dog He Rescued In Iraq. 1 Mth Later, They Reunite On The Other Side Of Earth

Ollie was born in a war torn Iraq and as a puppy he found his way to a nearby US military camp where he was adopted by the troops and became a camp’s mascot. Former Army Specialist Ken Wyrsch knew Ollie was a lover and not a fighter so when the word came out that the camp was being dismantled he realized one of his best buddies was being left behind.

As soon as he came home to California Wyrsch contacted SCPA International and told them his story. Now, one month later, he’s anxiously waiting at the SFO cargo terminal for a special delivery. Oh my God, Ollie’s reaction when he saw his friend is something you have to see.
