Octopuses are probably one of the smartest and most adaptable creatures ever. Not only are they capable of blending in with their surroundings by changing their color, but some of them used their wits to create much better defense system than mere camouflage.
Coconut octopus got its name because it learned how to use coconut shells in ways never before seen in animal kingdom. They carry two halves of a coconut as a real mobile protection home and curl themselves inside when they spot danger. But mobile home isn’t exactly MOBILE if you have to carry it. No, they learned how to roll it too.
