Anyone who spent any time with chickens knows their night time routine. Due to their poor eye sight in low lighting conditions and the nocturnal predators, they withdraw into their chicken coop at sun down. With that in mind, the owners of the Apricot Lane Farms were confused to learn that one of their roosters, Poodle Roo, was spending his nights outdoors.
A rooster who wouldn’t spend nights in the chicken coop? I never heard anything like that, but when his keepers tried to get him to spend at least one night with his flock it nearly cost him his life and they realized why this beautiful guy preferred the dangerous outdoors.
