Unfortunately Pitt Bulls often have very bad reputation. Historically they were bred for dog fights, so they developed a rough exterior that some people are afraid of. Statistics provided by dog shelters across the country show that out of all dog breeds Pit Bulls spend the most time in shelters before they get adopted.
Kayla Filoon, who works in an animal shelter, didn’t let that concern her, she trusted her instinct and she got the most beautiful friend. Russ was brought to the shelter, beaten up and in bad shape after wandering the streets of Philadelphia for days. From the moment she saw Russ, Kayla immediately fell in love with him. That’s why she decided to adopt the pooch, and since then this gentle Pit Bull won’t leave her side.
