Animals make our world a better place and when one of them enters your life it changes it in the most amazing way. You learn a lot about love and friendship that knows no boundaries. When we say that most of you think about cats and dogs but it’s equally as true for other animals as well.
A baby walrus was found near Barrow by a local fisherman, stranded and alone. The calf, estimated at four to six weeks old, was separated from a group and without a help he would have had little chance of survival. Fortunately, staff of the North Slope Borough’s Department of Wildlife Management gave their best efforts to rescue this baby and you have to see how he shows his gratitude. It’s heart melting.
